Subdivision
Cutting Edge Planning provides planning advice for subdivision throughout NSW.
Our involvement can commence at the early feasibility stage and continue through preparation, lodgement and assessment of the subdivision application.
Subdivision review
Depending on the site and proposed subdivision, our review can include:
- zoning and land use considerations;
- minimum lot size and frontage requirements;
- lot configuration and dimensions;
- access arrangements;
- servicing and infrastructure considerations;
- relevant Local Environmental Plan and Development Control Plan provisions;
- applicable State Environmental Planning Policies;
- constraints affecting the land;
- the relationship between the subdivision and future development of the site; and
- the likely approval pathway and supporting information required.
Subdivision applications
We can assist with the preparation of planning documentation required to support subdivision applications.
Our involvement can include:
- preparation of Statements of Environmental Effects and planning assessments;
- review of subdivision plans;
- coordination with surveyors, engineers and other consultants;
- assessment of compliance with the relevant planning controls;
- identification of any planning issues or variations; and
- responses to planning matters raised during Council’s assessment.
