Complying Development Advice
Cutting Edge Planning provides advice on whether proposed development can be undertaken as complying development.
Our review considers the relevant development standards, site constraints and approval requirements to determine whether a complying development pathway is available or whether a development application is required.
Complying development review
Depending on the proposal, our review can include:
- review of the Section 10.7 Planning Certificate, including relevant site constraints and exclusions;
- identification and review of the applicable complying development code;
- review of whether the proposal can satisfy the relevant complying development criteria; and
- advice on whether the proposal can proceed as complying development.
Working with the design team
Where a complying development pathway may be available, we can work with the architect, designer, certifier and other consultants to identify the planning requirements that need to be addressed as the design develops.
Where complying development is not available, we can advise on the development application pathway and the planning matters that will need to be considered.
