Pre-DA Advice
Cutting Edge Planning provides planning advice before lodgement to help identify key issues early and assist in developing an appropriate planning and design approach.
Where required, we can also assist with Pre-DA meetings and engagement with Councils and other relevant authorities.
Pre-DA review
Our involvement can include:
- review of the site and proposed development;
- identification of the relevant planning controls and development standards;
- review of preliminary plans;
- identification of potential planning issues or non-compliances;
- advice on matters that may require further design consideration or specialist input;
- preparation of a planning report for a Pre-DA meeting; and
- review of Council feedback following the meeting.
Pre-DA meetings
A Pre-DA meeting can provide an opportunity to obtain early feedback from Council before a development application is lodged.
We can assist in preparing for the meeting, identifying the key planning matters to be discussed and attending the meeting with the client and project team where required.
Following the meeting, we can review Council’s comments and provide advice on how those matters may be addressed as the proposal is developed further.
