Cutting Edge Planning is a town planning consultancy providing advice and development application services across NSW.
We work with developers, architects, project managers, builders, certifiers and property owners across residential, commercial, industrial, education and healthcare sectors.
Our involvement can commence at the early feasibility and design stages and continue through preparation, lodgement, assessment and determination. Services include planning advice and due diligence, development applications, complying development advice, modification applications, planning proposals and subdivision.
Our approach is centred on understanding the site, the proposed development and the planning framework that applies. We work closely with clients and project teams to identify planning issues early, provide clear advice and assist in progressing development proposals through the NSW planning system.

Director — Charbel Ishac
Charbel Ishac is the Director of Cutting Edge Planning and has over 10 years’ experience in town planning across both the private and public sectors.
His experience includes the preparation and assessment of development proposals across residential, commercial, industrial, education and healthcare sectors.
Having worked within both private consultancy and public sector environments, Charbel has a practical understanding of how development applications are prepared, how planning controls are applied and how proposals are considered through the assessment process.
This experience assists in identifying planning issues early, understanding the matters that are likely to require further consideration and working with clients and project teams to address those matters as the design and application develop.
Charbel remains directly involved throughout each project, from preliminary planning advice and design development through to lodgement, assessment and determination.
